The 24-Hour Animation Contest – Team Lead & 3D Animator

California State University, Long Beach | 2nd Place | 1st Win for CSULB

Assembled and led 5-person team of animators in creating a 30-second futuristic animation in 24 hours, placing 2nd out of 300 teams and 1,500 participants from 17 countries in this global competition sponsored by DreamWorks, Disney, Nickelodeon, and others. Introduced hybrid animation concept that combined everyone’s strengths: placing a 2D character in a 3D world. Lead in art direction, project strategy, and development timeline, plus established guidelines for communication, work check-ins, and presenting new ideas. Personally created environments, models, texture, lighting, 3D rendering, and effects.

Designed 3D game elements for armor-plated vehicles, electronics, furniture, arcade games, health vials, and other content, every 1-2 months – playing a part in earning team awards every year for 5 years, including “Top 10 Best Releases of the Year.” Collaborated remotely with 30-person global team animators. Produced 30-second trailers, title sequences, title card graphic, and the standard intro for all update videos coming out that year via social media.

Freelance Music Video Production – 3D Animator & Producer

NYC Music Collective | 6 Videos

Conceptualized and created music video animations using pixel art, 3D modeling, and other techniques for artists such as Golder, (printer friendly), and Calvin Kingston. Produced video for King Gizzard (Australia) that was selected as 1 of 3 published winners out of thousands of submissions – receiving 28,000 views on YouTube.
